I have had the G2 120W dock for the last 5 months for use with HP EliteBook 1050 G1laptop and since day dot it has been the bain of my life trying to get the unit to work. This last week it is randomly connecting and disconnecting, mostly it doesn't show up as connected (98% of the time) though it can still switch of the the laptop remotely with it's power button. Serial number for this unit 5CG844X2QK
